All of those cuss words I uttered last night during the game. I have to give SU a lot of credit for fighting like hell to win the game as though their season truly depended on the result because it did. Again, I have to laud our toughness in a difficult place to play and with our leading scorer out with fouls we still found a way to win.

Yep. The wife started screaming at me to calm down; that it was only a game. I just took a deep breath then realized she was right. I was screaming at the TV like a lunatic.

SU showed a great deal of heart even when it looked like the game was over several times. They kept fighting right up to the end. You have to admire that if you love the game.

DAMN that Terry Howard...FISRT Freethrow he missed ALL Season Long...Cost us our REAL First National Title...We would have RUN Kentucky out of San Diego...And Indiana too if they had beaten UK to get to the Final Four!!!

SI picked us to win the Title that year...Had an Animated Cardinal Bird Dunking the basketball with Indiana, UCLA, NC State and Kentucky behind us looking up on the cover...Said The Cardinals were a team that wore Steel Belted Radial Sneekers!!!
