I reiterate. Time for Petrino to go.

It’s been time. I appreciate all that the Petrino family has done here for people and I’m pissed as hell that BP vol 2 didn’t quite keep the momentum going but anymore of the excuse making is just willful ignorance.

Watch the moves by the new administration. Ask questions Cards fans.

Start the Brohm era.

Cards should be able to win the Atlantic by year 3 with him.

I’ve been a huge CBP fan but I must agree it’s time. I don’t want to hear it’s a talent issue. No it’s not, it’s coaching.

If talent were the issue we wouldn’t have played as well as we did for the first 2 1/2 years in the ACC. We have greater talent but their poorly coached.

I think CBP can’t get the best coaches. I believe no one wants to work for him.

Lucky to have Sommers.

He has 3 games left to prove me wrong; sadly I bet it goes further south.

Yep! I'm not sure if getting rid of Petrino is the answer. Obviously, trending in that direction. He needs to lead here and make some changes. That being said, Brohm, as of right now, is not ready. Can not reiterate that enough. He's not ready!
No offense but, not ready for what? To lose to weak forest?

In the last two weeks Brohm has lost to Rutgers and Nebraska.

This I agree with. Need to see what happens when he gets his recruits there. Another couple of years should tell a lot.

To replace Petrino and lead UofL to winning football. He needs to stay at Purdue for the next season or two, experience the P5 way of life, then we'll see. Right now, other than him being an alum, I don't see how he is the answer. Love the guy. But he's not ready.

I'd bring him in tomorrow if he wanted it. I'd rather him experience P5 here for 2 years and get his players in for year 3-4 than wait 2 more years and get little to no progress.

There are better options out there currently.

Everybody wanting a coaching change - how patient you going to be with the new guy?

Let's say Petrino finds another employer - whoever takes over the reigns isn't walking into much of a roster.

If I'm Tyra, first call I make is to Strong. This team needs defense.

As I have said in previous posts...I believe CBP needs to go. However, there are two glaring issues that need to be addressed...One: Lamar Jackson and the offense. As good as Jackson is...his decision making process on the field is questionable. Third and one on Wake's 11 and you pass up the yard to get seven points when you would of had 4 downs to use. No one on the offensive is helping either, especially the WRs dropping watchable balls. The O Line is swiss cheese. CBP does not know how to deal with Jackson. Jackson has got the Trophy...time for the NFL.

Two: Defensive. Where do we begin? For CBP to stay...lets get to top up and combined DC, to get this straightened out. Its an absolute joke. Jarie has been out all season and the rest of them look like the Keystone Cops. Granthem sucked last year...the new guy this year also.

The talent level in the majority of the positions is lacking...that's on CBP. Opposing teams know if they stay in the box...key on Jackson ...get the ball back quickly...they will score, Lastly, if they lose to UK this year...I'm done...get a new coach. On paper, CBP should be pound Stools and the Slappies by 40 eveytime. Out

The thing that has to happen, unfortunately I don't think it will, Petrino needs to become the head coach and leader of the program. He is way too involved in the offense and it clouds his decision making throughout the program.

Recruiting-Petrino is only focused on one side that is a problem. Offensively they are doing a good job, not surprising. He paid Grantham to handle the whole show on defense including recruiting. He allowed Grantham do his thing on defense. Does anyone think Grantham was release or was allowed to leave because he wasn't getting it done recruiting wise? He wasn't getting it done and it is showing big time now. 4 years of recruiting and they are staring or playing 4 true freshman who aren't ready. This isn't basketball the majority of players aren't ready for college football.

Bottom line they have to be balanced with building their roster. Strong built up the defense but left the offense in a bad spot along the line.

He needs someone he trust and will listen to during games. He gets too wrapped up in playing calling. He makes too many in game mistakes because he is so focused on the next 10 plays. He needs his brother back or turn the offense over to someone else he trusts.

It is OK to turn the defense over to someone, but man they have to fit your offensive coaching style. Grantham agressive style fit Petrino. It was a good hire with Strong's recruits/players. The current scheme or style is completely different. I never like going to extremes on styles or from a highly intense guy to a more laid back guy. The players tend to regress in the transition year.

He needs to benching anyone that isn't performing. At this point I would be yanking anyone that plays soft. That includes the offense. I saw multiple occasions yesterday when a offensive player gave weak effort in blocking. On one play they had a running back lead blocking an he ran by 2 people and blocked air.

They are very few highly successful HC coaches that are full time coordinators. They may have their finger prints all over one side of the ball but they all have a coordinators they trust. I am afraid if he doesn't make change to be a leader of the program instead of a leader of the offense he is destined to fail.

Bobby left us after four years and we know what happened.

He left Arky after four, and look what happened.

After four years he’s never had much of a roster.

THE MAN CAN’T RECRUIT.

And his defenders just need to explain why nobody can win with whaT he’s left them.

To be fair do you think Crapthorpe could have won with any amount of talent. And he should have with what Bobby left.

We should have won “more” for sure, but we weren’t what we thought because there was NO depth.

And Arky? Went from 11 wins (switch Houston Nutts players) to 3 or 4? And that wasn’t Krags.

He’s left crap or semi-crap whenever he’s left.

In all fairness, the truth is Petrinos teams always seem to drop the next year or two. The exception being WKU.
Now, how much is recruiting and how much is a different system -or- worse coach being in place is an area for discussion.
