Another Louisville ass kicking.

Before this game tonight, word on other sites suggested NC State would be more dangerous than expected. Las Vegas had the line at Cards -6.5.

I looked into the Wolf Pack and I just didn't see it. Yes, they have lost a lot of close games, but they haven't won in months. I guess the availability of Hepburn was in doubt, but still the Cards should have been a bigger favorite.

And lo and behold, the Cards once again dominate a ACC team on their own court.

This game tonight is why I go overboard a bit about the AP Top 25. How could any of those voters watch this game tonight and not have the Cards in their rankings? Have they not seen any of the other beatdowns by the Cards?

Joe Lunardi had Louisville as a 8 seed today. I guess he will move the Cards to a 7 seed after this game. Lol

Yes, an across the board win. You could tell both Chucky and James were not up to 100% but they gave their best. That overall effort, along with the inside/outside shooting and tough defense, is what will make Louisville a dangerous team come tournament time. Both
tournaments. Wake Forest down tonight to Florida St.. I believe that Clemson will lose one of their next 2 games. Saturday at Florida St. or a week later @ SMU. Be something if they lost both. Just saying......

After the last two years in the wilderness, every win is precious and special. Let’s savor this year and no “ho-hums”. I would have taken a .500 record this year and CPK comes in and gets us to second place in the ACC and on the verge of 20 wins. We’ve got the right man for the job and we look like Louisville again.

Yeah it’s starting to get annoying every time they show the ACC rankings. Louisville owns the tiebreaker over Clempiss, but they continue to put them above us. I get the records keep changing with every win and loss but, at the end of the day we own the # 2 seed in the ACC.I am salivating at the chance to play Duke again. I believe we hadn’t reached our final form yet when we played them before. With the way Chucky, and Edward’s is playing right now and don’t let Rain Man or Hadley go off, I think we beat them in the ACC tournament next time.

Every time I see the standings and both the Cards and Clemson have the same conference record, Clemson is always ahead of Louisville. When announcers talk about the ACC, it's almost always Duke then Clemson.

I agree about Duke and I've seen them several times and wish Louisville would have faced them during this winning streak. The Devil's were fortunate they faced the Cards in game one of conference play.

Remember, Louisville led most of the game against Duke. Something they have done in every ACC game, even the loss to GT.

I'm assuming the reason why they continue to show Clemson ahead of us even though we beat them and have the head to head, I thinking by virtue that Clemson is ranked higher nationally that's why they are listed ahead of us. Yes, we have the 2 seed in the ACC tournament right now but thats not what it represents. Tournament seedings will come out after the regular season is finished. Oh and before anyone says it, it is not an ACC conspiracy against us.

Louisville’s game at NC State is its first in program history in which it surpassed 60% field goal shooting, 50% three-point shooting, and 90% free throw shooting.

Yep, pretty ho hum if you think about it.

To me, and especially after the last four years, there is never a Ho-Hum victory. I know this was meant tongue in cheek but every win sends me over the moon. I am also surprised by the lack of respect we get from the media but that too can be caused by the nasty aftertaste caused by KP. It’s gonna take awhile to get the KP stink washed off us. That said…go ahead….keep ignoring us at the risk of your own credibility. See you in March!!!

We have set multiple Louisville hoops records this season so yes, ho hum.
Pretty sure you are referring to some individual records, this is a team accomplishment. I also agree with the CJ sportswriter that basically said even though the competition may not be challenging, the players may have to challenge themselves to get better, so a big NO to ho hum...

It is true, NCST is struggling this season. However, they have been pretty competitive in those many losses, and they converted 11 of 33 of their 3 point shots against us on their own floor.

This UL team exceeded my expectations, and I think many of us would acknowledge that if someone told us that UL would be in 2nd place behind Duke at this time, we would not have believed it was possible.

I suspect that if anyone asks the rest of the ACC members who is the last team they want to play in a neutral site; the majority would say Louisville right now.

Well, it's been both. Team records like 20+ point wins on the road, the 60, 50 and 90 percent shooting, 3 pt shooting and FT shooting, Total team assists in a game, etc...

Ho hum was indeed tongue and cheek as the Cards are not Uconn from the past two seasons. It's purpose was how unbelievable this run has been that it's looking like a ho hum thing the Cards dominating it's opponents.
