It's in the book. Decent read and it was written by a Pastor. I'm interested in hearing the spin on this one.Originally posted by lvillefan1:

Not sure what being a Pastor has to do with anything.Originally posted by Cue Card:

And there it is. The spin I expected to see in writing and you (figured it would be you) didn't let me down.Originally posted by OneEarWonder:

Probably about as much as being a drug dealer has to do with it...
I'll believe it if the claims are ever substantiated. This is a man seeking publicity and a pay day...
Why is it spin if someone has a completely logical take on something that doesn't align with your views?Originally posted by Cue Card:

Have you read the book? The man was in a real bad way before changing his life by accepting Christ as his savior, and he lets us peek into his early life before finding his way and some of the slimy people he had to deal with. He specifically mentions John Calipari and his pay for play program. If it's a lie, then I suspect John Calipari will want to clear his name and sue the man for defamation of character. Somehow I doubt that happens.
That's not spin. I'm not saying Cal is misunderstood or innocent or taken out of context or anything like that (which would be spin) I'm saying the writer's motivation is money and publicity.Originally posted by Cue Card:

I suspect that until bigger names come forward on this Calipari-Wesley would be wise to do what UKay fans are doing about this and that is poke fun and trash the accuser and then ignore it. I doubt he wants to challenge the Pastor in court.Originally posted by Cue Card:

Isnt' that last paragraph what UL fans did with Pitino? A lot of UNC fans I know did the same with Roy at Kansas. Especially after the "I'd dont' give a s%&t about North Carolina" comment. A think most of it is due to jealousy.Originally posted by Louisvillian:

Nobody would be the least bit surprised if it happened then and is happening on a bigger level now but good luck proving it. I'm sure Calipari-Wesley learned his lesson, layers and more layers. Hell, that's why you hire the guy in the first place.
I just wish I had a dollar for every UK fan I heard refer to Calipari-Wesley as the slimiest coach in College Basketball when he wore a different shade of blue when at Memphis. Funny that those same fans would now defend the guy to the death. Speaks volumes about the whole lot of them.
I can't speak for any other Louisville fan but as far as my own feelings about Pitino when he was at Kentucky were that I disliked him solely because he was Kentucky's Coach and I liked the way his teams played. That's a far cry from UK fans calling Calipari-Wesley the dirtiest coach in College Basketball and saying they would never want anything to do with someone like that.Originally posted by lonedingo93:

Please tell me you don't believe this. His own nephew said this was false. Holy ish I thought this was a joke to rile up UK fans, but no you actually bought that book. Dear God, you actually bought that book....Originally posted by Cue Card:

Actually I just read the description which was a really good read. That's all I needed to read and that part was free. The Pastor turned his life around after traveling down a road of crime, corruption, and deceit and mentions BY NAME how John Calipari uses his pay for play antics to buy recruits like the one he was handling at the time when he was traveling down that wrong road.Originally posted by BGWildcat:
Because suing ppl will make ppl like you stop lol Now if he can get 900 dumb UL fans to buy his book like you did, he will have his 20,000
No,it's not the same.We got tired of Pitino kicking our ass,but most fans I know respected how he did it.Apples and oranges.Originally posted by lonedingo93:

I save my prayers for things that actually matter to me. Calipari being exposed is only about time and is not worthy of any type of prayer. Eventually it'll happen again just like it has already happened 2 times before. Yeah I know, I know, he's innocent of all wrong doing because the NCAA (which makes millions off his being successful) says so. LOL! He's slime and everyone knows it. Everyone that wants to know it that is.Originally posted by BGWildcat:
You didn't say it seemed like a decent read you said it is a decent read, and you got that from the description? I bet you read alot of books...Ahem "descriptions" lol Maybe you should get in contact with "Catfish" and you two can pray about Cal being exposed.

LOL, Says the UofK fan on a UofL board. I simply linked the location of a book that might interest you if you want to really understand what you've got as a head coach. I already know what he is. I've known it for more than 20 years now. He's slime.Originally posted by BGWildcat:
