Louisville women's golfer Lauren Hartlage has qualified for the NCAA Championships. She fired a 1-over-par 73 on the third day at the UofL Golf Club in Simpsonville to finish with a 2 -under - par 214 for the three days and finished fourth overall in the individual player standings.
It did not go as well for the rest of the UofL squad.
In fourth place after two days, UofL dropped to 11th place on day three with a +14 over par 302 final round. The top six squads advance to the NCA Championships. Head Louisville women's golf coach Whitney Young commented that putting woes were, in part, responsible for the Cards dropping to 11th overall.
Nevertheless, congratulations to Lauren, who has been a model of consistency during her time here at UofL, and best of luck to her in the NCAA Championships !!
