University of Louisville golfer Lauren Hartlage carded a 1-over-par for the four days of the NCAA Championships in Scottsdale, AZ. She finished in a tie for 12th place in the event, she was in thirddd after two days of competition but had a 75-73 on the course on Sunday and Monday. Her 289 for the four-day NCAA Championships was nine strokes back of first-place finisher Rachel Heck out of Stanford.

Thus concludes a very successful time for Hartlage at UofL. I wold fully expect she'll go for her "pro status" and attempt to earn a card in the LPGA.

The Elizabethtown, KY resident was a three-time Kentucky Golf Coaches Association Region Player of the Year (2013-15) at Elizabethtown High School. A few of her collegiate awards include:

  • 2020 WGCA Honorable Mention All-American
  • 2018, 2019 Golfweek All-American Honorable Mention
  • 2018 CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team
  • 2017, 2018, 2019 WGCA All-American Scholar
  • 2017, 2018, 2019 All-ACC Team
  • 2017, 2018, 2019 ACC All-Academic Team
  • 2017, 2018, 2019 ACC Honor Roll
  • 2017 ACC Freshman of the Year

The Hartlage era at UofL ends, but her golfing days are far from over !
