Yeah, that stretch in the 2nd half with Levitch,King,Spalding and Adel was the best I think I've seen in a few years.

Guys just getting hot? Maybe, but it was mostly within the offensive motion, the extra pass and ultimately, the catch and shoot.

Not knocking Q or Donovan, but they hopefully were watching and learning as Levitch was running the point.

Q may not be the answer at point. He's got too much of a scorer's mentality there.I'd rather see CP go with Mitchell.

IDK. I do know we have to be able to execute and pass in the half court to get buckets.

It was definitely the smoothest stretch of offensive execution I've seen from this team in long while. It was very refreshing to see the team score several buckets in a row. Q is our guy at PG most of the time. However, this disappoints me to say it, but he is not really excelling at anything right now. He is doing okay in a number of categories but he needs to get back to running the offense, dictating the tempo, and not focus so much on his own scoring. Now I know at times his scoring was needed but that can't be his main focus going forward.

I just don't know if he's ever really been a point.I'm ok with the thought that Donovan could do it better. If Q plays the other wing,so be it.He just doesn't think pass. When CP has had to go with Don there,he's responded really well.

Point is,there has to be somebody in there thinking about making others better. If Q won't do it,then Mitchell will.

The reason I give Q the benefit of the doubt is because of his play the last two seasons. We've seen him be a pass first PG that takes shots within the offense. We saw him step up his freshman year after Jones was dismissed and help propel the team to the Elite 8. Granted this season Q doesn't have Lee and Lewis or some of the other offensive firepower and maybe feels he HAS to score more- though I'm not sure.

I agree with you that he is not really getting it done at the moment and also that Mitchell has done pretty well as PG at times. However this team needs Q going back to what he does best. It does not need him to keep chucking bad shots. It's mostly up to Snider himself, and there will be times where he might not be the best option, but I think the team needs Snider to be THE PG for team.

King adds a dynamic with his ability to slash, create, and shoot. He helped Adel get a few clean looks and I hope they continue to have a chance to play together.

he is playing Q waaaaaaaaayyyyy too many minutes. McMahon needs some run at point. he is more athletic than Q anyway, with a 1000 times better shot.
play Q 25-30 minutes a game tops
give McMahon 15-20 minutes

Q is taking shots and not really playing his game because there's a thing called a shot clock, nobody gets it done and he ends up with the ball in his hands with 3-5 seconds left on the clock. What's he to do, back it out to mid-court and call a set?

Don't read too much into Saturday night, while the atmosphere was "big-time", the opponent was not!

That's not what i see. I see him hunting shots.

I digress.Looking back at LAST year,Q had multiple games where he showed his willingness to distribute.I want him to shoot the shots that are there, but I want him to be the guy that makes others better too.

PS is probably the truest PG CRP had but that doesn't mean he wasn't looking to score. The thing with Siva and Russ is that they could get to the rim if the offense broke down. Snider doesn't have the quickness to do that but he also shouldn't be shooting so early in the shot clock unless the defense hasn't got back to defend. From that aspect, yes DM can get to the rim but he's not a great facilitator yet.

It helped playing with multiple confident 5th year SRs last year. They knew how to get open, how to find spots on the floor where they were comfortable scoring.

This team is very green, and their confidence is easily rattled by mistakes and/or missed shots.

Got to let the cake bake.
