I thought he did a great job with the interview. The members on the panel laughed and joked with him. Something tells me the media is going to like this coach and maybe - just maybe - be a little nicer when it comes to Louisville.
Go to the ESPN site and click on Xavier hiring Travis Steele as his replacement. There are two video clips with CCM on College Game Day. Very good IMO. He is representing UofL very well.I missed it. Anyone know if there is a replay or summary of what he said?
Man I sure hope you're right. The media can be freaking brutal, and we've suffered enough. Coach Mack is at the helm now and it's past time for the media to just let it go. We've moved on. It's time they do too.I’m beginning to believe our problem was more Pitino then the UofL. Now that we’ve got Mack maybe the National media will let us start moving forward.
Well we can’t have closure until the FBI stuff is resolved or has gone away. Every time they talk about U of L, they seem to replay the history of past events.Man I sure hope you're right. Coach Mack is a college basketball coach while Rick was sort of some basketball "diety." Jurich said it best - Rick was metaphorically Elvis when he entered and exited a room. Anytime he speaks, the room will stop and listen to him, as today showed. It just is what it is.
A lot of great memories came from the Rick years, it went bad at the end and it's just time for Louisville basketball to move on with Chris Mack. Rick is responsible for what happened under his watch, although I hope he wasn't behind it as he says. And, as I keep hearing others say - I hope he finds peace and is able to move on as well.
