Great showing by our freshman point guard. Pitino is right he doesn't really get rattled. He makes some frosh mistakes but he was great today. 6-11 FG, 16 points, 2-3 from 3, 5 rebs, 2 assists, 1 TO and 2-2 big free throws.

I like the way he is progressing. He's gonna be an all ACC type player down the line. He and Rozier would be nasty next year of Terry would come back.

CP has said that Q was on the same path that many of his freshmen guards have been,not playing because he was lacking defensively.Much like Siva was at this point of his career,he was sitting on the bench,but unlike Siva something changed that and he was catapulted into becoming an integral part of the equation.

He is adapting quickly.

He is a really good offensive player. His only issue on defense is his lateral quickness. He should be able to improve that with work and as he gets more experience he will learn how to play much better defense.
