There is a device to be purchased at Radio Shack (or some place similar) that evens it out, but I think it's about $50.

Appreciate the info, I will check it out. Card BB is about the only place I would ever use it - maybe Reds games.

I am just an old fool who had to listen to the radio due to the nature of my work and have a high comfort level with it. I have been blessed with some great announcers who have been my eyes - Van and Jock, Paul, Cawood, Marty, Joe and the Cowboy. Very few color analysts rise to my level of expectation and I do my best to ignore them.
