W would go a lot of further with the players we have if we could hit free throws, layups, and close shots.
I don't blame a kid for not wanting to come play for Rick or for choosing to play for Cal over Rick.
We know you are a parody account. Nobody is taking your lengthy defense of your coach around here seriously – especially the W/L regular season stats that include games against the typically trash SEC. I know the UNC game was a gut punch – we don’t care that it hurt your feelings. But I’m glad it’s got you scrambling searching for a lot of data to convince yourself why your NBA D League coach is the man. He’s got you one title, which is all that is relevant to this thread.
Yep, you've caught me...just a long, long, drawn out con on my part. My plan was to post on here sporadically for years...which I've done, amassing over 3,000 posts....slowly but surely seeping my hidden love for UK into the message board until finally I had turned this Louisville message board into a Kentucky message board, but alas, you've caught me.
Or...alternative theory....I'm a life long Louisville fan who doesn't believe every thing Rick says and does is golden and that people who complain and point fingers at Calipari are too blinded by their hatred to see that even though he's only got 1 title, his system has been very, very successful and will continue to be successful.
This isnt about Coach Pitino. No one here will ever nominate him for sainthood.
Caliperi's system is NOT successful in conjuction with number one recruiting classes, NBA all stars and NBA ready players, coupled with a cakewalk conference.
When a fanbase buys number one recruiting t-shirts, ( what other fanbase does)
its calling your shot that has ended up in failure. Its fun to dominate, win, get to multiple final fours, however in the end, its all about Titles.
GS has the most wins in a NBA season, yet didnt win the Title. Failure.
You can admire caliperi up close or afar. No one is green eyed of one and done, top 2 recruiting classes that SuCkS and now Duke are producing. Both were top 2, and neither are playing on the Final weekend.

Gotta admit, that made me chuckle.

Yes,and don't forget 2014 when Pitino was not allowed to play the first half with his whole roster because Hancock got his 2nd foul.We were going back2 back before that.He was killing Young,on his way to a career game.Pitino should have won a few years back when MSU beat him.
It's so easy to sit back and say "should have , should have, should have". Every team has a "should have" story or two. The point is, the tourney is tough. It's wacky and it's unpredictable. You can't assume success just because you have blue chip talent no more than you can if you have a team full seniors. We are lucky that our respective teams have had a pretty successful stretch. I give credit to both Rick and Cal. They know how to navigate the tournament. But you will still have years where you flop out.Yes,and don't forget 2014 when Pitino was not allowed to play the first half with his whole roster because Hancock got his 2nd foul.We were going back2 back before that.He was killing Young,on his way to a career game.
Jk...about the roster thing.
