Game 3 need to salvage the series

Game 3 today and we need to salvage the series. We are still 2.5 games behind UCF by virtue of USF's win yesterday. However, we are also 2 games behind USF and in a virtual tie with Houston. We need to stop losing games to lower tier teams in the conference or we will end up not being able to catch up and then having to win the tournament title.

Kidston struggled finding the zone and getting in a groove. Harrington has taken over for Kiddy.

Unexplainable. Cards down 5-1 to Memphis in the 5th. Kidston didn't have it and FR Harrington already pulled after giving up 2 runs.

Cards can still come back, but the early signs are this team does not have the consistent starting pitching to get to Omaha. Please prove me wrong!

Yes! After letting the Tigers take a 7-1 lead the Cards storm back to tie the game, by scoring 2 in the 8th and 4 in the 9th. It is now 7-7 in the 11th.

Finally a "feel good" moment for the Cards. The last 2 weeks have sucked.

8-7 in 12 innings. Burdi (2-0) gets the win.

Cards win! Cards win! After being down 7-1, Cards scored 2 in the 8 and 4 in the 9th to tie it at 7. In the 12th, Chitty gets a walkoff single for a 8-7 win. Maybe this is the game that gets the Cards going! RBI singles by rosenbaum and smith in the 8th gave us 2 runs in the 8th. Bases loaded groundout by Gardner, followed by Lucas 2 rbi hit scored 4 in the 9th. Burdi came in not to get a save but pitched 3 scoreless innings, striking out 5 walking only 1 and no hits.
