GAAAAHHHH!!! Who to watch? Teddy or Lamar?

The "last" button on the remote controls could get worn out this afternoon!
Mine got worn out yesterday. Every time the Cards went to commercial, I checked in on the Wolverines. I'm stuck with only one game at 1:00 due to the Bungles being on up here. I feel a nap coming on until 4:00.

I’ll even be rooting for Lamar vs my Steelers. And wearing out the “previous” button.
Steelers aren’t going anywhere this year. Lamar and the Ravens need to rebound from 2 straight losses.
Lamar was all off today; has not played well past couple games. Still relatively "new" though. Maybe Ravens need to expand their offense a little.
fyi..just in case any of you aren't techies, i've had spectrum, dish and directv and all have at least two recorders and all should have the ability to watch two tuners and flip back and forth. pic in pic too. but on directtv while watching lamar you double click the down button under the round center Select button.
that switches on the second tuner and you then watch teddy. i record both jsut in case but i'll watch one game until they hit commercial and i pause it. then i click the down button and switch over to the other game on the second tuner that was on pause. i watch it until the next commercial then i flip back to the other, skip thru it's commercials and only watch the game. that way i never watch a commercial until halftime and if you can build up 20 minutes of pause time like fixing food, bathroom breaks, raking leaves, etc you can skip halftime too. commercials are for suckers.

Teddy had one of his best games as a pro today. He’s also 3-0 as the Saints starter this year.

Goodness glass, you are full of techie pointers on how to work the TV system to its fullest.
i've worked at home for 20 years so it's on a lot in the background. plus i am a junkie when it comes to tech and i choose my cable provider by their remote functions.
btw, if any of you have bought a new tv in the last two years and have not watched the video link below then you are most likely watching it on it's worst settings.
in short, your tv is set to have all these anti-jitter and flutter settings already on, set by the factory, but they make the picture look crappy and "soap-opera" like quality. you need to turn everything off and don't use dynamic picture mode. i use the Movie picture option then raise sharpness, brightness and contrast to their max settings. then adjust color to your liking. but turn off all the picture quality helper settings as described int he video.
way better and sports don't have the jitters as camera pans. much closer to plasma if you set this way. sucks they dont; make plasma. my ten year old plasma is much better but has no wifi or internet so annoying. otherwise i bet your picture is 70% of what it could be so watch this video

Damn. I have one tv on games and another on Red Zone; your buddy rolls hard. Like psycho hard.
so to bookend this post, i called directv to see if they wanted to offer me any discount to stay and they said i was a great loyal customer and there's nothing they would do for me. i told them they should rethink their customer service approach so they don;t offend their customers by telling them they are great and loyal and there's absolutely nothing you can do to lower the $70 increase in my bill. i told them it's disgusting human behavior to compliment someone on their efforts then say essentially, screw you for being loyal, give me more money.
. i said why would i pay $130/month using two year old equipment when i can get you tube for $50? and wouldn't it make sense to keep me on and you get the money instead of another company? they said nothing they would so i cancelled.
i guess someone in upper management must have listened to the recording of my phone call and how i went off on them for making this country worse by not caring one bit about the people who pay them and just greed is their only guiding force, and the next day we got a phone call from directv asking us why we cancelled, i told him, and they ended up knocking $80 off the bill so my new bill is $10 cheaper than before, i got showtime and related channels for free for four months and i am not on any contract, can cancel anytime, and the price stays for twelve months.
so the moral is the squeeky wheel gets the grease and those who complain evoke change. remember, change doesn't happen until people complain otherwise there is no reason to change.
