Foul trouble?

Will there ever be a road game where the Cards will commit less fouls than the other team? It's more of the same tonight against Wake. We're rolling along until four guys pick up two fouls. Pitino has to bring in the deep bench with Matz and the last five minutes of the half, we're not even a NIT team.

Those calling for King to play more than Adel are nuts. It's not even close. The Cards should be up by 12 at half and they would be if their best players weren't sitting on the bench. I hate games like these. I'm so much more at ease when we play the top teams because we usually play well. And we're actually playing damn good tonight but we're up one against Wake at half. You see it but still don't know how it happens.

Not going to make any excuses but the blatant home cooking calls was getting absurd. That dictated the game once it got close. The Cards never could get over the hump because of some seriously questionable whistles.

I am assuming the Cards lost because I got tired of watching it after that 30 foot prayer went in to extend the WF lead. Good effort early, but the whistles killed any momentum the kids were trying to muster up so it is what it is. We got the new kid on the block treatment. Again.

It was blatantly obvious when the Cards went up 14 that the officials started calling the game different. Not long after that Pitino got the T. The guys were also playing great defense until then as well. After that they started getting worried that if they breathed on one of Wake's players they would get called for a foul and loosened up on defense. Then Wake makes the comeback.

I agree about Collins. Great player who has a long NBA career ahead of him. I was very impressed with his demeanor and skill set. An absolute beast of a basketball player.

Oh and Mango had a 12 points and 10 rebounds. The two guys you say need to play over these guys scored a combined 0 points.

this is just plain dumb. every road game has challenges of refs, today was nothing new.

Manning took advantage of pitino playing role players mangump and dengump too many minutes.

Now, he's got his work cut out for him but King is not currently anywhere close to outplaying Adel. Mangok and Adel are the reason Cards only lost by 7 and not 25.
You're cryptically silent on our lottery draft choice who took only 9 shots, 8 of them threes. Had Adel did that, you would have been all over him.

I told you to get some perspective.
Anas started and had zero points.
Mangok off the bench, had a double double.

Adel played all 40 minutes and had a career high 22 points.
VJ, didn't even attempt a shot.
