Just curious the rest of you. I will start:

Starting attending Louisville football games in 1971.

Season tickets since 1975. Currently have 5 in section 227. Most I have ever had in a season was 8.

Two parking passes in the Green lot B.

My daughter is a Louisville Letterman. She was a football trainer.

I am a die hard football fan. I am a 1077 Business School grad. I am not to happy with what I am seeing right now.

So tell the rest of us about your relationship with Cardinal Football.

You're a little senior to me... I first bought season tickets in '82 after I graduated from Speed. Family plan initially, set of four tickets, and I still have an invoice from the mid-80s for less than $100 in the old metal outfield grandstand. Amazing stuff, but it does give you some perspective...

Now have ten licenses in the B&W Club that I started buying about a decade ago to get my parents into more accessible seating. During the K-rag years, it was easier to find premium seats. And I kept buying as people asked me. We have five Bronze parking passes with those licenses incl. a couple where we tailgate near the cabooses.

Despite the perks, I still miss the wide open spaces and laid-back atmosphere of the old Cardinal Stadium. Those were the days...

I miss the old stadium atmosphere myself.

Compared to you 2, I'm a baby lol. I wanted to be a season ticket holder after the very 1st game that I went to 7 years ago that my bosses from work took me to. I've been a season ticket holder for 6 years now. The 2 seats I have are in the handicap seats area and I'm loving my view in section 231. I've been in different sections through out the years. A friend of the family goes and we have a great time.

I used to sit about where you are...those are good seats. Did you get a Green parking pass with them? That was one helluva walk for two 70-year old, now one 80-year old parent...

Yes I did for the 1st year but the friend of the family didn't like the walk from where our seats was for the 1st year.

2 years ago I asked members on this site if they had an extra bronze lot and I was lucky to have found one!

Saw Lenny and the Sun Bowl Boys in the 50s … think Parkway Field … two degrees when Minerva was in charge, not the Bird … now in the B&W.

U boys have no appreciation of where we came from ….. (but, that's OK) ….
None, period ! (or exclamation point).

I remember the Astro Mud that we played on.

Started in '84 when my nephew walked on to play.

Bought life time seats when offered. Now have 6 seats and two parking passes (bronze and green)

Gonna have to see what the future holds. Hopefully we continue to field competitive teams with a chance to be really good once in a while.

Either way, I'm not giving up my seats. They will always be valuable.

To somebody.

Moved to Louisville in 1997. Priority number one was to find a place to live. Priority number two was to get season tickets. Been a season ticket holder ever since.
