Can I get some fire in the belly please. This was absolutely horrible and totally unacceptable. Getting beat straight up is one thing, but playing like Zombies and making the myriad of mistakes over and over again today was about all I could stomach. Other than Cunningham I did not see any fight from anyone. There should be an APB out for most of this team as I would have thought they would not have to be motivated by cattle prod to play UK of all teams. Don't get me wrong I know what were are as a team at this particular point but the lack of fight was just mind boggling. It's going to be a rough road to travel once ACC play starts.

Think the long break hurt us. We were missing that spark today. Had it against UT and Mich St but not today.

It was a bit strange watching us walk the ball up,after makes and misses,a little like a Twilight Zone episode. The Cards did not take the fight to the Cats and I don't understand why.

Exactly - Thank you !

It was almost like we felt the only way to win was play conservative and try to keep it close.

Game plan sucked pure and simple. Second game in a row they have played with no fire. Has Mack lost them already? Time to sit some satisfied asses on the bench.

I'm not sure the game has as much meaning to some of these guys. I kinda get that. Not sure why any Card would be wearing blue shoes though.

The defense (Especially help defense) was awful today. There were a few times Nwora’s back was completely turned in a position where he could not see man or the ball. Just basic defensive principles were off today.

Herro looked like Larry Bird today.

During football season, we blamed no-fire-in-the-belly on the head coach.

Just sayin'...

Over reaction OP like you said in your 1st post you know where the program is right now. Last year's performance was unacceptable do you think yesterday was anything like last year? Didn't they get steamed with a few SRs last year? They just don't have the horses - no inside post play at this level, under-sized guards. Top player shut down because he just has no help.

100 percent agree. Teams are going to take Nwora away and if they are able to do that then there is no one to pick up the slack.

I don't understand the effort compliant either, they lost 1 for minute segement by 10 that was the game. They just could do anything offensively to make up the ground when UK stopped hitting shots,

This team has been assembled with bandaids period. I didn’t expect to win and I thought we could have played better, but it didn’t shock me. Some of our players reverted back to their softer days and some were just out classed. We don’t have the talent yet to beat SuCk, Duke, or Kansas. But we should have enough to make the tournament.. who knows why they played like they did, but I would suggest SuCk had a lot to do with it. Our better days our a head. This is a rebuild year let’s not forget that.
