Not being argumentative....this evening reports Sean Miller from Arizona not only talking to an agent about payments to a player, but any questions on money should go through him directly. This was on tape.
Arizona by tape conversation had a head coach that threw themselves under the bus.
Some of my fanbase are a little too cynical and paranoid to see things clearly.
What your example shows, however, is that the top shelf coaches in this game are capable of anything...
Same can be said thinking our POS A.D. is capable/willing/allowed to get a "big" hire.

You are probably right. One thing I remember about Jurich getting Pitino here was he said he wouldn't take no for an answer. Tyra is not worthy of washing Jurich's jock. One bad thing about this FBI stuff is Tyra has an excuse on "striking"out with hiring a good candidate. Jurich got his man, will Tyra? If DP,Payne, or a Crean type is hired stick a fork in the program for the next 10 years.
There's always a point to discuss...
Tyra's quickly proving to be a small thinker. You don't grow a P5 athletic department by cutting costs. And he obviously doesn't think fund raising is important enough to staff for it. He's here to shrink your department which will shrink your programs. That's what he knows how to do.
And that's not a good sign for hiring a basketball coach...
