They have Clemson #2. Im guessing it’s based on returning talent and being another year with the same OC-QB combo. That will be a massive game.
In all honesty, considering the timing of the game and our schedule leading up will probably ensure a great record, it might be the BIGGEST game at Cardinal Stadium ever played. Legit playoff aspirations and it will be on Friday night with no competition on TV.
And then SMU is ranked #15. Fair after last season. The unfair part is going there a week after Clemson, that really looks like a classic let down game week.
Miami is #21. That’ll be the game that really defines our place in the season and ACC. We win that off the bye, the hype train will be unstoppable.
They have us #22. Id like it higher, but it’s fair. It’s the portal era and a lot of unknowns everywhere. But we have the right schedule to do damage this year.
So I really think going 2-1 in those games will have us in the playoff hunt and ACC title game.
