I’m surprised UofL is favored by as much as they are. Last year the game with them was nail bitingly close until we unloaded late. The game 2 years ago was also too close.

I’m afraid Wake is gonna do what BC did - run the ball down our throat and hit us with simple combo routes in the flat and deep flat. We have been terrible at maintaining responsibility on those routes. I’ll say Wake 31 - UofL 30.

I'm worried about the same. The defense MUST step up and get some stops to give the rightful Heisman front runner the chance to shine. If WF controls the clock, they'll probably win the game.

It would be a very big win for our guys. Wake is very physical on both sides of the ball. Their game against Ga Tech last week was a bruising one by both teams.

Not 100% sure Dave Clawson was the coach that said Lamar had Zero chance to play qb in the NFL but Lamar seemed to think it was. Hope he throws for 500 and 5 TDs.

Wake likes to throw it around some too. That’s where we’ve gotten hurt.

Wake’s a 60/40 run/pass team this year. One thing that can’t happen is the sloppy tackling. You know they are not going down easy. I’m sure they know the embarrassing BC game stat that we gave up over 500 yards after contact in that game. Just pitiful.

Hope last week carries over for our defense.
