Agree, but I'll lay money the guys like playing with Q better! Guy is solid and love his demeanor on the court.
His lack of emotion reminds me of Junior Bridgeman and Allen Murphy, the guy just plays! No bullshit, no showboating, love the kid!

I'll take this team with Q running it over the team when Chris was running it. Q is very under control and plays better team ball
Let them talk about Jones. Let it be the story of the NCAAT for all I care. When they stop taking about Jones is when our guys are on the first flight home. It sucks but it sells and as long as we win it will be a topic. Embrace it cause we win 1 more game it goes from a black eye story that we overcame to make a small run, to a team feel good story of becoming a family in the face of adversity highlighted on the CBS Road to the Final Four pre game show
I turned it on ESPN and Mark Ennis started in on it during the post game. We just beat NC State. We are in the elite 8. Who knows how the team would look if Chris Jones was still on the team? Talk about what's going on now.

We knew it would be part of our tourney storyline this year. And the story will be told over and over as Q plays well. It's part and parcel of the story of Q's progression to carrying the PG load.
I expect some blurbs during our games but I don't expect it to be the main narrative during a local post game show. They have had plenty of time to talk about Chris Jones.
Anyone think that we'd play like this with Jones at the point...I don't think so!! Q has been willing to spread the ball around and get everyone involved in the offense. He also pulls the ball out to reset the offense when needed whereas Jones tended to pull the ball out so he can get another run at the basket. The contrast in style between the two PG's is very obvious. Q is the reason we are in the E8. Our offense has been much more balanced with Q at the point.
Who gives a s@$# what they are saying about Jones, us as a team, or this run. F#%# 'em all! We are on a roll. Enjoy it, and enjoy the doubt and hate! Enjoy the run, don't let the meaningless outside comments distract from that.
