As a few you might have noticed, I have not been posting on the Collision Course board. It seems I am not allowed access to it.

So, this may very well be my final post here at Cardinal Sports unless I receive a reprieve from the warden. In all fairness, I may surface at another national site if things can't be worked out. I have been contacted.

Let me be clear. I'd rather post here at Cardinal Sports. Basically, it is up to Rivals -- it's out of my hands. I had been graciously "comped" over the years when Howie was an integral part of the site. In return, I provided a lot of write-ups on UofL women's basketball.

However, this particular board (The Hall) is still free and so I'll post that Asia Durr had a nice start to her WNBA career with eight points in 25 minutes in a 81-80 loss to the Indiana Fever. A tip in, buzzer-beater by the Fever's Tearia McCowan (there's that name again!!) won the game for Indy.against the NY Liberty.

Asia Taylor, another Cardinal Forever, is on the Fever roster but did not see playing time.

Durr, along with Tina Charles, led a Liberty comeback from 12 down to tie and eventually take the lead in the second half.. The Liberty trailed 54-42 in the third but came back to take a 60-54 lead.

Arica Carter makes her debut with the Phoenix Mercury today.

I'll be providing WNBA updates on UofL WBB players in the WNBA, plus news on the current UofL WBB roster and staff somewhere throughout the rest of the year. If fates allow, hopefully it will be in the Collision Course.

That sucks, Sonya, and I hope you can work it out to remain on the pay board. You certainly earn your keep, as Howie was able to recognize. Your coverage and insight into women's basketball has been appreciated by all, and easily worth the nine bucks a month to the board.

I hope you can work something out with the “new management”. I’ve always enjoyed your reports.

I'm keeping an open mind about the new management here. One thing's for sure, I don't wanna see less of the 'old timers'...
