Down goes UK to 5-5 Ohio St.

Okay, so out of that I get that you played basketball at one time in your life and you don't value my opinion. Okay got it.
Is there anything else that you want to post that is also irrelevant to this thread?
That perhaps some day you might post here with something besides the tired aphorisms mined directly from the UK rhetorical network?

For example, at any point in time, you could have mentioned what you actually saw UofL do on the floor.

LOL, Coach Cal is sending his kids home to spend Christmas with their families and Pitino is practicing his team twice a day up until the game with Kentucky.
So tell me again, who is acting like this is their super bowl?
Pitino Lite knows from experience that he doesn't have to practice too hard to beat the good guys. Not that his players would anyway.

And I said the FANS in the context of a Super Bowl. Reading comprehension is always a good friend.

Not that Pitino Lite can't use a good win. Aren't that many opportunities on the LPT schedule.

"Elite program", my a$$...

Quoted for truth.

I'm not going to lie either. I want the Cards to win this game against UofK very badly. Not even trying to deny that but here's the biggest difference I see regarding the two programs. If the Cards win, the UofK season might just spiral out of control to the point where it could end up being another NIT appearance for the best collection of 5 star talent on earth in spite of the cup cake schedule left in front of them to play. They'll start eating their own.

If UofK wins, it just gives the Cards more energy to keep improving as they prepare for the 6 or 7 ranked opponents left on the schedule.

This IS UofK's Super Bowl. If they lose, dreams get crushed. It is what it is.
You all are also making the assumption that the players care about this rivalry like we do; which they do not. Losing, on either side, is not causing either team to go into some death spiral or cause them to "start eating their own". Get a grip people. It's a great rivalry, and we all love to discount the other program. But, a win or a loss in this game means very little to the other program's season, or the teams player's mental stability.

We have 2 games this week genius and it wouldn't matter if we were playing EKU Saturday, Rick would still be practicing right through the holidays. If you know anything about Pitino you would know that early in the year especially he is hard on his guys.

Coach Cal got that idea from Bobby. He is the one who came up with sending the bluebellies home for the holidays !
