Donovan now projected in the first round

His future with UofL will depend on how well or poorly the Cardinals do from this moment forward for the rest of the season IMO.

He's been tagged as the go-to-guy for the Cardinals now by the talking heads, so if he shines and the Cardinals do well, his NBA stock will continue to rise. If he is a solid 1st rounder then he should go. It's too much money to pass up.

Looking at our recruiting class for next year, it doesn't look like the coaching staff has anticipated Donovan leaving. Maybe move King to starting SG?

IDK if Mitchell should go yet. There's plenty of 2 guards that are in the 6'7 -6'8 range that can do what he does. If he is going to have a future in the NBA, he's going to have to learn to play point or learn to shoot like Steph Curry at his size.

He won't play the 2G at the next level IMO. He'll play the point. He is 6-3 with quickness and decent ball handling skills. He can break down opponent off the dribble, and he can pass well. He needs to concentrate on PG skills if he really wants to make an impact at the next level.

EDIT: I see we agree. That's what I get for not reading and understanding your post correctly the first time. :D

I dont care about anything but his inprooved shooting and defense. If he handles those, his future is set.

Hope he is contagous to the rest of the roster.
