...to go to a bowl game mean you're not too good at football AND you're not too good in the classroom?

As usual, I have questions that beg for answers. But consistency is not one of their issues.

LPT Football: Consistently behind...

:D

Not sure how they choose which 5-7 slugs get to go bowling but I'm hoping the Mildcats get a bid and get trounced by Duke in the Independence Bowl in beautiful Shreveport.

Be nice to have back to back losses to Louisville and Duke for their fans to savor until next year.

I think the last thing that program needs is a bowl game against a decent team. That would just prolong an awful season.

According to this

http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireStory/bowl-teams-selected-order-academic-rating-35498157

Nebraska
Missouri (already declined)
Kansas State
Minnesota
San Jose
Illinois
Rice

Would be eligible in that order.

Ironic that one of the teams UK beat is bowl eligible. (And won't go...lol)

So if Kansas St. Wins Saturday and Minnesota, San Jose St. And Illinois all decline bowl invites, the schmUcKs could be bowling.
