Does anyone know why Mariya Moore is transferring ?

According to the CJ, it's because she is from California and she wanted to be where her family could see her play her final year. Interestingly, her sister Minyon is also transferring from USC (Cailfornia).

According to Coach Walz she wants to play closer to home for her senior season.

Well it's not just her. There are 3 women that are transferring from the program.

Sophomore Brianna Jones and freshman Ciera Johnson will transfer from the University of Louisville.

Some of these players find out how really good they are (not) only after arriving. If kids get recruited over, this kinda thing is destined to happen. As long as good players keep coming in the front door, we will be fine...

Sophomore Brianna Jones and freshman Ciera Johnson will transfer from the University of Louisville.

Jones isn't a surprise but Johnson is, even though she was a disappointment after the hype of being a McDonald's AA. Her foot speed is very slow and she's not much of an athlete. Has the one thing you can't teach and that's size but Coach Walz apparently recruited over her with other bigs.
