The reason I make this thread is because Brohm has recruited the DL much better than any other position the last 2 years at Purdue and has 4-5 guys just there that he could bring. Just going to post who has left and who is here (currently) plus options. By my count, we have Craig, Gillotte, and Vic as edge rushers with Tell, Thomas, and maybe Lole inside next season. I don't know what Sorensen and Selah project to be. It seems like we definitely need more help on the edge than inside which makes Gilbert probably the best fit as he fits well as a strongside DE/3-4 DE. I don't know enough about the others in this class to speak on where they fit best.
GONE: Banks, Bryant, Diaby, Edwards
HERE FOR NOW: Selah, Vic Brown, Craig, Gillotte, Sorensen, Tell, Thomas, Walk Ons (Puryear and Reiger) and Lowe (unsure of what he does next)
POSSIBLE OPTIONS: Kendrick Gilbert and Micah Carter (4 star DL that are both 6'5 250 pounds) as well as Saadiq Clements who chose Purdue over Michigan and FSU and is from KY (same size as the other two)
Drake Carlson is a Nashville kid at around that same size (6'4 and 260) who chose Purdue over early offers from Tennessee, Miss State, and South Carolina
Nic Caraway and Joe Strickland were the 4 star DL duo that Brohm signed last year. Neither were recruited by Louisville it seems like but still a possibility if the DL coach comes over
