I’m just curious to get the thought of the fans and @Ty Spalding ’s opinion being connected to the situation.
My question, how big of a disappointment will be IF Kenny Payne does not get DJ Wagner to play at Louisville?
This is probably the most important recruit in a generation and im interested in how we all feel about him right now.
KP was brought here to bring in big time talent. Specifically, his close relationship with DJ Wagner right now I think sold a lot of people on him being the guy now. Wagner is the type of talent that makes you the cool school, the place where all the kids want to go. John Wall did that for sUcKs. Duke was doing well already, but Zion kinda gave them a broader appeal with recruits.
Just say we don’t get Wagner, is it a huge disappointment and put some more pressure on Payne. Next year will be a free year as there no expectations, but if we feel DJ is coming in 2023 then we’ll just be so excited for the future.
KP was hired to get the big time guys here and DJ Wagner is that kind of recruit and the specific recruit that he was hired to get starting out.
