and not in the way you may think. This kid has issues. Behavioral/anger issues. He was involved in a physical altercation here in Louisville when his team played here last summer. And then this week he was involved in an on-court altercation that escalated out of hand.
This isn't a "I never wanted him to come here" post, the kid is an excellent player and I think he'll be a great college player (although I'm not sold on him in the NBA quite yet)
But this kid needs serious help, his role models and parental figures are failing him. If his mentors allow this type of behavior to go unchecked, it will escalate, it's that simple. Kid needs to grow up and the people around him need to remind him what's at stake.
and to those people who will inevitably say "kids will be kids" - why aren't all the other top-ranked recruits regularly getting in fights at events?
