Moore is ranked as the No. 17 overall player and No. 2 wide receiver in the Class of 2023.

According to ESPN Stats & Information, the 5-foot-11, 190-pound Moore is the highest-rated player Louisville has signed in the ESPN 300 era, which began in 2006. Prior to the ESPN 300, Louisville signed highly regarded local players Michael Bush in 2003 and Brian Brohm in 2004.

Yeah it only takes a couple of decommitments and suddenly everyone is upset again with recruiting.

It's awesome these California guys are committing to Louisville but that is a long way from being signed and sealed. A lot of places between California and Kentucky.

If the 2022 team plays well and wins 8 or more games the recruits will dig the energy and stay committed. However, if we struggle and Satterfield is screwing up the play calling again, adios big time recruits.

Now I'm not sure when the next signing period is for these 2023 kids. Hopefully sooner the better.

I don’t know all the details but I was reading an article a while back about women’s basketball and NIL. Page Bueckers of UConn and HVL of Louisville both have over 700,000 followers on Twitter and they are being paid 82 cents per follower every year. Factor that in a with NIL money and they are probably both making over a million.

Just curious, is this sudden boom in recruiting due mostly to NIL or to Satt connecting with recruits?
I've asked the same question, and I haven't seen any analysis nationally from people in the recruiting biz. So I guess locally we just speculate in the meantime...

Steve and Pierce Clarkson are the majority of the reason for this recruiting bump, with an assist from Adidas NIL. Steve has an impressive resume’ as a QB tutor and his Dreammaker academy is probably the top QB camp in the business. Lots of contacts from those two!
