University of Louisville basketball legend Darrell Griffith is getting a street named after him in the Chickasaw neighborhood.

A part of Hale Avenue from Cecil to 40th streets will be called Darrell Griffith Avenue. An honorary sign will be unveiled Thursday in front of his childhood home.

Griff was the local kid who could have gone anywhere, but didn't and went to his hometown school. When he signed, Griff said his goal was a national championship and he did it!
It's great that we are naming a street after him but when are we going to rename the city Griffville? Louis never did anything here on the court, screw him.
