what would or should we call these folks?

they show up at louisville games in full UK attire and UK is not playing against Louisville.

are they scouting for a future game or ar they lost?

whatever the reason, what shall we call these folks?

please add a suggestion..........

slapdi@#s is old, we need something new.

Hey, it's money that could have went to UK! Instead, TJ and Cardinal nation got it. Advertisers don't care what they wear. ;)

If it ain't broke...don't fix it. That name was provided by our current coach,

You know that is something I'll NEVER understand about some uk fans, is why they are so prone to do this. It's weird, strange, and kind of a douche thing to do. To me, it speaks of some uk fans' stalkerish obsession with UofL more than anything. Actions speak louder than words and all that.

As for the topic of the thread:

BBD = big blue douchebag ? I don't know it sort of has a ring to it.

They need the attention. That's why they do it.

Asshat in lieu of dumbass.

GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!

There IS a Twitter account dedicated solely to exposing (with pics) the UK fans that show up in UK gear at UofL events. It's an interesting phenomenon to me, nothing more or less. One I don't personally get (maybe to say "UK gets in"), but to each their own. It's revenue for our program.

I wouldn't be surprised if mattie bangs was behind it.
Either he pays someone to follow UofL around the country or he solicits a local to don a crappy blew jersey/shirt at each UofL game.

Dont know about the road, but thanks for contributing to pay off the KFC Center.

The one I saw at the Grand Canyon game Saturday night I would call "touched".

I'm surprised someone hasn't got seriously injured over it. If our game crowd was younger, it probably would have happened already. You could easily remove them for trying to start a riot. Happens all the time in sports. --I'm sure the lawyers will be arguing their failure to do so once the time comes.

You can understand an opponent wearing their gear. But these guys might as well be holding a F-U Louisville sign. Which wouldn't be permitted.

to see a UK fan at games and UK is nowhere in sight is comedy.

I believe you are spot on with the sentiment they wish to display with the full UK dress at a louisville game and their team is nowhere in sight. The WUK's (WUCKS) are a sad bunch.

I'm finding increasing popularity with this label.

And with an easily offended audience, it shortens to "slappy" which everyone considers funny if not more difficult to understand the origin of. (At least it gets chuckles from my crowd...)

I attend most home UL games and I would never think of wearing UK gear or saying anything derogatory. I just enjoy the game and atmosphere with friends or customers.

I have been going to New Albany High School games for close to 30+ years. Even living in Tennessee I had season tickets and would go to the tournament games as much as I could. It kind of like church, you see the same folks, family and fans for years sitting in the same seats for generations.

Now with Romeo Langford at NA the season ticket sales are through the roof, lots of new fans and bandwagoners. One group in particular are Kentucky fans. New Albany's school colors are Red and Black. Kentucky fans will come to a New Albany game and wear Blue from head to toe. You know these people are not from the area as they have no idea what assigned seating is for a high school basketball game. A lot of these fans just plop down in any seat they see fit and sooner or later get told to move when the season ticket holder shows up...It's funny and sad at the same time. These Blue fans also only cheer and clap whenever Romeo does something, they sit in silence for the other players.

Like Romeo is going to look up in the stands and think to himself...."hmmmm, those rubes are wearing all Kentucky gear to a New Albany game....I think I'll go there!"

I find it strange and borderline creepy. Hope Romeo stays home and goes to UofL......or these UK freaks may scare him to get as far away from Kentucky as possible.
