The recruiting chaos has started and considering the recruiting prowess of this staff I'd expect that will just continue over the next couple weeks. Anyways, just had a few quick things I wanted to drop by here that weren't big enough for an individual post.
- 3-star CB Dequanteous Watts told me that Louisville coach Bryan Brown is expected to visit him on Wednesday. Watts is still waiting on a Louisville offer at this point.
- Louisville safety coach ShaDon Brown is expected in to see two California prospects, safeties Don Chapman and Tuasivi Nomura. Nomura holds a scholarship offer from Louisville's new staff but I don't believe Chapman does. The significance here is that both are former Colorado recruits (where Brown was at before Louisville), with Chapman being a former Colorado commit. It's always good recruiting guys you had a previous relationship with.
- There has been at least some level of contact between the staff and UTEP grad transfer TE Josh Weeks. Weeks is waiting to hear word if Louisville may have a spot for him or not but he is at least interested. Weeks originally committed to BYU out of high school, went on a 2 year mission before enrolling at BYU, then transferred to UTEP, so he is 25 years old and could provide some experience in the TE room.
