One thing I wasn't sure about Kelsey was if he was capable of making in game adjustments at this level.

Putting Hadley in the post was a great move that led to some big buckets both in the paint and some big pass outs for 3s.

Putting some of our wings on WVUs Small and Devries with delayed double teams and pressing to speed them up were all good adjustments.

I'm nitpicking but the only thing I would have liked at the end of regulation is throw a quick pass to the other side and call a quick TO. Probably 1.5 seconds left and can get a great look. I am so friggin jacked this team is in the 'ship. I honestly just didn't wanna go 0-3! We might have ourselves a team peeps! And I simply just mean a team that can be competitive and have a chance to make the tourney!

So much evolution in college sports, and particularly with MBB, as it only takes a few transfers (like Hepburn) to turn things around. For UL, it sure is nice to see us on the top side vs the bottom side; we have a chance to compete again.

Not a complaint but I think if we had Johnson and Traore we could have pressed more instead of letting Small just walk the ball up the court. I think 3 of WVU players played over 40 minutes in their game. Small did make a few turnovers late which was costly to them. This team is a joy to watch!

Been a while since UL MBB and UL FB were both providing this much enjoyment for the fans at the same time.

losing to stanford was not enjoyable. being crushed by smu was not enjoyable. and if we lose to uk tomorrow the season would be an absolute failure and our coach should be let go. so would not call the fb experience enjoyable. we're 7-7 in our last 14 games and if uk beats us for the 6th straight time then we'll be under .500 over the last year plus. so if you call that enjoyable, you need to get out more. bball team, now that's enjoyable. the IU game was the most fun any fan has had in years in any sport. let's hope the run continues later today, but OK looked good yesterday.

Jeez, cheer up, pal. We’re going bowling, and have a great shot at 9 wins after a 10 win season last year. Stanford was a bad loss but those happen. I think your problem is expectations. After last year you were expecting huge things even with big roster churn and a much tougher schedule. After the last few years you have very low expectations for basketball so their performance is thrilling. Perspective please. Also, stop calling for the coaching staff to be fired (with one exception I’ll allow for Ron English). They have a winning ACC record and a winning overall record. I am confident for a victory at UK tomorrow to end yet another losing streak (Clemson).

It's simply ridiculous to suggest Brohm should be fired even if he loses the next two games. Why would any other reputable coach consider Louisville if they fire their coach after just two seasons? The "hometown boy" coach at that.

Not all losses are on the coach. Sometimes players give it away like last seasons UK game. The Stanford loss was on both.

I certainly can agree this season hasn't been sunshine and lollipops, but it's a process building a program. From one season to the next, a transfer QB can come in and be a perfect fit for Brohm's offense, and the Cards could be right back in the ACC championship game.

There's always bumps in the road.

Always remember, IGNORE is your friend. This guy has been on mine for a couple years (maybe more)

I haven’t missed him, nor him me, I’m sure. 🤷‍♂️

we got crushed by SMU? I’ll admit that we had some tough losses. But that’s how the football bounces sometimes. We also beat Clemson at Clemson at night. That’s a huuuuuge win for any program.
This football team always played hard, and that’s all you can ask for.
Something is not right about your post. Did Coach Brohm bully you, or steal your girlfriend in grade school. Lol I kidding with ya but I do wonder why you or anyone would want Coach Brohm fired after what we’ve witnessed his first 2 seasons. Don’t make sense..,

Simple immaturity that's all. There's only one coach that should have been fired after one season, let alone after a 2nd. We all know who that is.
