This thread assumes Jeff Brohm turns down the UL HC Position. Please list who:
1) You think UL will actually Hire
2) The coach you would prefer UL Hire
3) The Coach you fear UL might hire
My choices
1) Dino Babers - Done a good job turning around Syracuse(17-19). Good record prior to
Syracuse(37-16). Experienced Coach needed to get discipline back in program.
2) Matt Campbell- Has done a good job both places he has been, 35-15 at Toledo and
18-18 at Iowa State. Has a game left with Drake on 12/1/18. Really like this guy
I/S is a tough place to win. My only reservation about this guy is he may not be at
UL long if he turns program around. Only 39 years old.
3) Brett Venables - The guy is a super star DC. But a guy who has no HC experience scares
the hell out of me. At Oklahoma and Clemson he has had superior athletes at his disposal.
That probably won't be the case at UL.
