Yeah, he puts QBs in the league, but you gotta play to get there. Who is the last HS recruit QB to get significant clock?
OTOH, you play a young guy, and if he’s good, he bids himself out.

I am totally fine with Brohm recruiting and playing seasoned transfers. Unless a young QB has generational athletic ability, stick with the vets. I wish Clarkson the best.
he was too small to ever be jb's type of qb, he likes old school pocket passers and honestly, he did clarkson a disservice by saying he had a chance. clarkson, imho, needs to be on the move always, not sitting in the pocket. but, he probably made good money while here.

This is the catch 22. You go out and recruit your ass off and then coach a kid up only to have them hit the portal looking to get paid. That's why this NIL shit needs to actually be NIL instead of pay for play. To get NIL they should have to get out and hustle and make deals to get the money not just have it handed to them as a recruiting tool. NCAA totally shit the bed on this whole deal. Of course WE all know that..!
He doesn’t fit what Brohm wants in a QB. So if he’s successful somewhere else that’s great. Travis leaving was a totally different situation.
