I’m thinking now that 5-7 is the record, maybe 6-6 if we sneak an upset in there. Wake is struggling with Cuse, so that won’t be an easy one now.

This is a young team without depth. If they keep fighting hard and just losing games like this, it’ll suck, but we’ll return a bunch of guys with this game experience next year. Fire a coach and you’re starting over.

The problems can be fixed. Hire an OC and just let the guys get more experienced.

He's running the same stuff he ran last year. Today he forgot all about MC running and didn't even use it as a weapon, one way or the other. SS totally went away from this team's identity and put the players in a position to fail and Brown did the same thing.

I just think this was a mess and he doesn’t have the personnel to do what he wants. I think he can creatively call some plays. Our big play ability is what keeps us in the game, but it’s those long drives and short plays where we get stopped. Losing Ledford hurt because he was good at that.

My opinion is that this team isn’t that talented. Now that’s on Scott too, but also a lot on Bobby’s disaster. There’s talent in the underclassmen, but will we be patient?

Let’s fire him and get the next hot mid major guy to come in, oh wait? Who will come here with this roster in a university with all this chaos knowing they just fired a coach after 3 years into taking over the worst team in the nation in 2018?

Scott might not be the guy long term, but he’s the guy right now. If we have a Bobby level 2018 collapse? Maybe. If we fire him, we’ll be doing what Tennessee has done except we won’t have top 15 recruiting classes like they do to make up for their incompetence.

It’s not entirely about the roster. Coaching matters. We’ve seen coaches do more with less. Satt likes to blame talent and go conservative with a lead. He will be gone soon enough. He’s not a fit here.

I think the main thing is to hire an offensive coordinator someone who knows the game at a higher level.

There was plenty of talent for Louisville to win this game. The talent had 30 points on the board going into the 4th quarter. The game was lost when Satterfield took the air out of the ball and let Virginia off the hook.

Now the defense is just too young and the defensive line is average at best. Virginia is the 4th team the Cards have faced already that has a top end QB that throws the ball 70 percent of the time.

Ole Miss, UCF, WF and Virginia.

So Satterfield knows he's going to need to score lots of points but he is apparently scared when he has a lead.

Like I've said before, there's always something that mucks everything up. We could be up 35 to 3 in the 3rd quarter and fans would still be nervous.
