Louisville will have to come back to win this game. Virginia comes out firing with two long TD passes and will lead 17 to 3 after the 1st quarter.

The Cards will pick it up and score two TD'S in the 2nd quarter but Virginia scores 10 and leads the Cards 27 to 17 at the half.

Both teams struggle in the 3rd quarter with turnovers and penalties but both make field goals so after 3 quarters, the Cavaliers have a 30 to 20 lead.

UofL scores 2 TD'S in a 5 minute stretch aided by a long punt return to take a 34 to 30 lead. Virginia then drives 80 yards to take back the lead 37 to 34.

With under four minutes to go, Malik converts two 3rd downs with his legs and with under a minute to go, runs in a 7 yard TD to give the Cards a 40 to 37 lead as the extra point is no good.

Virginia drives down and attempts a 45 yard FG to tie the game but it's no good.

Louisville wins 40 to 37

I’ll be there! I’m not one to make predictions. I’ll be there looking for improvement in the defense and hopefully big numbers in the rushing game.

I think Cards win convincingly if they come out hot.

Spread check: UofL -2.5. This is a 50/50 game, IMO. I expect it to be back and forth and high scoring. UVA has had a little extra time to prepare. They last played 9/30 at Miami, a game they won. They also, statistically, have a better offense and defense than the Cards. I won’t be shocked if UofL loses, but I can’t pick against them. Cards 38, UVA 34.

That was a crappy series play calling alert. We’ve thrown 2 passes so far on went 99 yards for a TD and one went for 18 yards. Why not throw more?

Our play calling is so predictable, even when we're having success. But I knew we would likely go 3 and out after Virginia scored because we would put ourselves in a 3rd and long.

Now Virginia has the momentum because we didn't make sure we ran more than three plays.

I'm just resigned to the fact that I will never understand coaches and their play calling.

U might be right man. This is CRAZY AND RIDICULOUS, I hate that anytime we win a game it is despite ourselves. Like we try everything we can to lose the game, EVER GAME. How Satterfield survives this season I just don't know. He lost this game. Period! If he's the one calling the plays because we went from being 17 points up and after 6 offensive plays, we're up only 3. Then, we finally get down to the red zone and could put the game away with one lousy first down. Instead he plays for the FG and a 6 point lead.

I knew then Virginia, if they had to complete a 4th and 25 to score a TD they would. Because Louisville deserved to lose because it's coach plays scared.

How else can it be explained?

The DBs were out of position more often than not.

Satterfield plays not to lose instead of playing to win and he didn't even fake any QB runs or even give MC a chance....

I'm now convinced that if SS had Georgia's rosters we would still have the same record.
