My thought is that 8th will be a helluva lot better than 15th, like we were each of the last two years!
Unless all 7 of those teams are in the top 15 I don't agree with 8th in the acc
Thats a good starting spot. As I have said numerous other times, we get lots of chances to prove how good we are ..........or not.
Even though the Cards have a brand new coach, staff, and team, the very poor performances of the last few years have made people reluctant to take them too seriously until they see actual wins on the court. I hope CPK and team blast through the lowered expectations the media has for them.
It’s a new Dawn of UL Basketball, and the transfer portal adds to the opportunity for all ACC members to change their trajectory. I continue to resist the temptation to make predictions for the obvious reasons, none more evident than inability to have a clue as to what the other 14 schools return and can execute.
For me, I am just excited to see the painful Payne era end and the arrival of Kelsey.

It's a conservative but mostly unbiased placing. There's 2 or 3 teams ahead that are a given.
After that, the margins are razor thin. There's probably a couple of programs behind UofL that could overachieve from their projections.
Predicting this stuff with the portal is probably far more difficult for these experts than compared to the old days.

Even to the extent that there are now 17 other schools… we’ve got both players and schools in the transfer portal! 😎
