Can UofL finish the season strong. I could not imagine what this great team is going thru. I just wondering if they can dig down deep enough, and have the will to finish strong, with the few games remaining before the season is over.

It is the million dollar question. It has to be really difficult knowing that win or lose the season ends Saturday, March 5th at Virginia. They'll lean on each other regardless because they are a special group of young men. For Lee and Lewis, these last few games are going to be tough emotionally.

I hope they finish strong. They were starting to jell. This is a great group that could have made a deep run in the tournament and didn't deserve the treatment they got from James Ramsey. The fan base is really pissed. According to WHAS 11 this morning there is a petition with 11,000 signatures wanting the tournament reinstated. It's way past time to fire Ramsey for this and a lack of financial oversight' as well as being grossly over paid.

Going to be tough to win any of the remaining road games. Probably 4-3 finish in the last 7.

It is my understanding the decision to impose the post season ban was TJ's. Not Ramsey. Is that incorrect?

According to the Courier Journal on February 5, 2016, this from James Ramsey: He decided "self imposing was certainly in the best interest" of U of L and it's program.

At Duke, he was going to get his points come hell or high water, and he threw up some stuff he shouldn't have.

I can't blame hm. All he has left is to pad his resume.

On the season he's a 45.8% FG avg and 36.3% for 3pt

In our 4 losses he was 33.8% and 14.8% (4-27)

If he plays HIS game, and can hit close to his avg of the shots we know he's going to take, we can finish strong.

If he forces things..........

But in reality, what does it matter? We want a strong finish of course, but this season is done, and we will/want to forget it ASAP whether we win the Reg Season title or not.

The smart play would be to get Anas, Matz, and the others as much SERIOUS clock time as we can, and forget the ACC title. (unless they can get us there)

Behind closed doors I'd bet money the ACC would like us to keep a low profile the rest of the way too. Do they want the conf Champ banned from the Tourney?
