Good - Win. This group doesn’t appear to get rattled if they give up runs. They play each inning to score runs and, so far, stay locked in on that goal. Pitchers - FR Brown and Eberle. Both looked great. Brown is really earning mound time. More power please. Someone asked about this team’s power. Well, I think that is being answered. While I do not think this team is going to be powered by the long-ball…it is certainly a tool several guys have available. Rose, Davis, Pike, Munroe, Klein, Early, Hot. - all these guys can go yard at any time.
Bad - Hartman, Starke, Hoyt. Not placing their outings into the Ugly category. None were ‘wild’ ut they gave up some very hard hits and were just not consistent. I hope guy Hartman is still just working his way back into game-ready shape.
Ugly - Could have throw Hoyt into this category, but, I chose not to. Otherwise, the defense. 2 errors and more specifically a couple of mis-communications by players that hurt our pitchers. That has been a thorn in the team’s side over the last couple of years and we don’t want to keep re-living those mistakes.

Overall, it was a win. Butler has hitters that is for sure. Our mid-inning relievers need to step up. Bring on the Johnnies.

Mac touched on the possibility of seeing some new faces out of the pen,but we likely won't see them unless these home games are secured victories.
Pike is making a solid case in right field as an every day guy. Moore continues to wreak havoc on the psyche of the pitchers and the defense.
Overall, the team chemistry is outstanding so far.

Doesn’t look like he has gained a pound since last year.
If he can just come in situationally against a string of lefties and keep them off balance in the heat of the battle, he'll be doing his job and playing an important role on this team. Just be really good in a pinch.

He needs to redshirt. You can’t throw in the mid to high 80’s at the level. If you do you better have excellent control.

He has to add weight and to his fastball. If he gets up to 92-93 then he would be a good relief guy because of his arm angle but more of a left on left situation.

Can’t put him out there right now.
