It’s up to these ACC coaches to go public, regardless of the threat of retaliation by the Conference, by criticizing the ACC officials. It’s not just UL, nor is it confined to the ACC, as we have all witnessed bad calls across all of college football. However, even those TV analysts working the ACC games have been unable to avoid acknowledging the incredibly poor performance of these officials.

Jeff cannot do this on an island, he needs to reach out to his counterparts, as each ACC team is vulnerable to this pathetic exhibition by officials. This game is too big to allow such irresponsible performance by paid professionals who are dictating the outcome of these contests.

I may be incorrect, but one of the UL Administrators told be earlier last week, that ACC reviewed the SMU fumble call that was reversed, and acknowledged the revue process “got it wrong”, and the possession should have remained with UL. I believe it affected the outcome, yet there was no effort by the ACC to compensate UL for the injustice ……. arguably one that reduced the chances of UL qualifying for an ACC Championship. If there was any disciplinary action taken against those responsible for overturning that call, we have no way of knowing, as the ACC refused further comment.

Obviously that ACC revue had no affect, as the holding flag that was called against UVA, but picked back up after a brief discussion; may have been unprecedented in all of football. At least I have never seen a single instance before, where a holding call was called by an Official, only to be reversed.

It is so bad. I have never witnessed this level of ludicrous and stupid calls before.

I think a video of the 10 obviously incorrect calls in UofL games should be produced and sent to the league office.

For the upcoming game with Miami, it's going to be really hard to play 11 against 20.

It is well past gross incompetence. It is cheating. The ACC is obviously telling the head official which team must win the game.

Funny thing is you can almost pick 10 from any ACC game plus ND Louisville has played in this year.

I’ve come to the conclusion that we don’t fit into this league’s Snobbery so we are the scapegoat for everything.
I think you’re on to something. The Big East was far better and I think we’re a better fit in the Big 12. But it is what it is and the Cards aren’t alone. It’s the old guard and against the new.

Just watched the replay of the Virginia game. For you fans who truly believe there is a conspiracy against us need to watch the last Virginia series when they were down 24-20. Actually I believe it was the 4 and 10 play where our defensive back clearly got there too soon and disrupted the pass attempt. Definitely pass interference on us but no flag. No guarantee that Virginia scores a TD but they definitely would have had a 1st down. Are officials bad and make or don't make incorrect calls? Yes! Are they conspiring against U of L? Unlikely!

That’s 1 play. We had the same scenario on a sit down route when the defender ran through our receiver’s back way before the ball got there…no call. Now do the rest of the game apologist.

Correct, and it was so obvious that contact occurred well before the ball arrived. The evidence of bias directed towards UL is overwhelming, but there will always be those who will refuse to acknowledge what most have witnessed.

I watch A LOT of football!! I can tell you the amount of questionable to really bad calls vs our team really stands out. From bad spots to unprecedented calls to just plain misses is unreal to me!! I'm one of those that officials don't determine wins and losses, but there is no doubt some of these calls impact the chance to win a game.

I watch as much or more college football than anybody I know and I have never seen a holding call reversed by discussion of officials. It was clearly holding on top of that. The fumble call in the SMU game was equally as bad, it was ruled a fumble on the field and there's no way from the replay they saw anything to overturn it. The double PI call at ND is one of the worst calls I've ever seen. Once the first PI is called, which was "obviously " on ND the play is over unless there's a personal foul afterwards..

The bad calls in the SMU game and ND game both cost us a good chance of coming out with a win. If anyone can't see that then I don't know what to tell ya..

The reputation of the athletic department took a major hit about a decade ago. Football and Women's CBB just collateral damage.

We were always looked down upon as a city college and the basketball side took hits for what sounds hilarious now, but back in the day, they used to attack us about graduation rates. No really! And while I know some people want to care about that stuff just look at the sports culture now.

So with that against us, then all the crap from a decade ago, really there's just nobody in our corner. Media in this city hates us. You don't have state politicians fighting for us like they would for a flagship school.

Look at everything that's happened down the road that just gets yawns. Media just looks other way on them. We have an assistant go rogue fire everybody and everyone still hates us.

Meanwhile ACC wants to pretend the Carolina schools are so perfect. UNC fake classes, Duke pushing NBA guys through for a semester or two. But, but Louisville.

I think at first UofL was set to just get screwed over a few early seasons in this league. But it's pretty apparent UofL football is not valued and neither is the basketball. Now that you think you might have a competitive team in hoops just wait for the refs to remind you who you are guys.

That first run @ Clemson where their DBs got away with assault on our WR's in the Lamar era let us know we were not going to just walk in and get good treatment. But I think now it's just become too much on the reg. They just don't want this program repping the league. The league was so bad last year we stole a title game shot vs FSU and you know the ACC just hated it. HATED IT!

So with that, I see no way out anytime soon on any of it. We just don't fit in with the big picture.

Maybe a move to a new league would give some kind of re-boot. Maybe. But as is, we are just left to yell at each other about it.

We get a lot of bad calls like the play where the Virginia runner was a yard away from the 1st down but the ref spotted it for a first down. Other teams in the conference have recently suffered major bad calls like VaTech and Cal. The refs cheated to get our next opponent Miami the win. Like the Fox Sports commentator mentioned the ACC is trying to determine who represents the ACC and they are doing with the refs. I really expect a lot of bad calls in the Miami game I hope I am wrong.

The Big East had some of the worst officiating I’ve ever seen.
