Breaking: Louisville lands QB Tee Webb...

I like Satterfield, the guy. But he better be either one helluva coach or the best in the biz at finding diamonds in the rough and/or finding them early.

Because the offer lists for these guys were getting commitments from?...

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he's one hell of a coach Zipp and a lot better recruiter than you may think U of L is leading in this house and its not even close, and there's other offers out there from power 5 schools, right down the road to be exact. I really like him, it may sound old fashioned but I can tell a lot from shaking a man's hand.....Give him time I've spent my whole life around this game the man knows what he's doing.

The thing about Satterfield is he knows how to build a roster. They understand what they need on both sides of the ball. I really don't think they will get hung up on measurables. Can the kid play? I really don't expect them to kill it recruiting wise until they start winning. Even then lets face it they have to find high 3 stars and develop. They aren't going to be in the Top 10 recruiting ever, but being in the top 25 is reasonable.

I stand by my thoughts that we’re not recruiting against the “regular top 20” schools. No one has cracked that club with any regularity in forty years. No reason to think we will. Geography is against us.

We’re competing against the other 45 P5’s and all the FBS for the “best” 3 and 2 stars.

No matter where you coach, you have to recruit to win.

CSS wins, therefore he can recruit.

Simple. ;)

I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the recruiting until the end of the season. Top recruits will probably wanna see how we do this yr. Teams are going to be bad and when they are kids de commit just like recruits last yr. Teams are going to overachieve and win some games and that will get the attention of bigger recruits. Let’s just hope they can win 5-6 games, then they will have proof that the program is trending up. Until then the coaches are selling a dream
