It is a classy move and it also shows how well respected Jeff and his family are among the Purdue faithful and the athletic department.

Two other reasons. It gives Brian some responsibility and exposure to build his resume. We know eventually he will get a shot somewhere. Also Jeff wanted to coach the bowl game but knows that he needs to sew up the recruiting class. I've heard that Jeff is flying out to California...
