Do you consider this next game a "must win" game?

I think from a team morale standpoint losing the Boston College game, which is entirely possible, would be a killer. It would also hurt seeding as well.

I'm still hoping the team can finish the season strong instead of limping to the finish line. And after that I hope they can win a few in the post season. I realize that might not happen but it's still possible at this moment.

Depends I guess on the definition of "must win".... If it means making the NCAA tournament, I believe that we need just one of these last four (3 remaining regular season games and/or the first one in the ACC tournament) to be in without any doubt.

If instead you want to see a team that is capable of making a deep tourney run, then yes, this is a must win, as is Notre Dame and at least one game in the ACC tourney.

With the opponents left on the schedule, getting those one or two wins become the problem, especially if they can't beat Boston College.

Notre Dame has always been a toss up with a ton of those games uncannily going into OT. Or 2 OT or 3 OT etc. Even with ND down this year I don't have a ton of confidence in that game.

Finally Virginia at their home. Well now that will take nothing short of a miracle to win that one. Could happen but the chances are miniscule.

But with the ACC tournament still to play it would be great to get a couple of wins there too.

YES. The next two are MUST wins. A good showing at UVA would be nice too.

Rick always said that these types of games are the most important ones on your schedule - the games you are supposed to win. Win the games you are supposed to win, and if you lose the games you are supposed to lose it doesn't hurt your standing - the formulas have your loss already built in. A loss to Boston College would be a huge hit in all formulas/polls/any eye test that the committee uses.

This team is extremely limited. Like last year it is a poorly built team which isn't Mack's fault. Mack's offense requires 4 positions to create their own shot or shots for others. They have 1 guy that can create for himself and others, the rest need others to create their space for them.

Not saying you're wrong but who is the guy that you consider being able to create to get their shot?

I wonder why Coach Mack never told his players to get BC leading player into foul trouble. With 10 minutes left in the game BC star player Bowman, got his 3rd foul.
