The Louisville women's soccer team hosts IU tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Lynn Stadium on campus. If there's anything I've learned about IU women's soccer this season in that they are prone to tie -- with a 1-0-3 record. Yes, college soccer changed the rules this season and after 90 minutes, the teams are done this year in the regular season. No shootouts, no overtime sessions, no messy stains or lingering odors. Obviously, this does not apply, come playoff or NCAA Tournament time.
IU has had three scoreless ties against West Virginia, Virginia Tech and Ball State. they did beat Indiana State 3-0 in their last match.
Your kickin' Cards are 3-1-1, with wins over UIC, WKU and Memphis. They fell to Xavier and tied JMU.
Admission is free to Louisville women's soccer so c'mon down to Floyd Street and enjoy a nice evening watching the women's play!
