Our big guys are going to be much improved. I know this is just a scrimmage, but it is apparent that our big guys are going to be a stregnth this season.

Night and day difference in toughness.
We are catching the ball without traveling or fumbling it away.
Being strong in the post and even rebounding well.
Coaches have earned their check working with the bigs.
Sure glad to be talking about basketball. Our bigs ARE better than last year, but we had room for a lot of improvement.. We were playing against a smaller lineup, but Bellarmine always makes up for that with moxie and precision. We really need to be vocal in our support for these guys.

Monumental difference in the ability of our bigs to catch and finish while looking like basketball players.
Very impressive. By the end of the season I think we'll have the best frontcourt in the country. So much potential there.
i don't think we will be that great…HOWEVER i think it will be a fun, drama free team which is nice.
I believe Matz is a lot closer than many would believe.
Anas will get 15-20 minutes a game
About 17000 I heard. Bellarmine does not have a smaller lineup they start 6-10 6-10 and 6-9 but their bigs have the ability to step out and shot 3s. I was impressed with our bigs able to go out and guard. Onuaku still got in foul trouble though. Most impressed wit jaylen Johnson. Able to score inside and rebound. Snider had 8 assists at one time and made at least one 3. Mitchell hit 3 corner 3s late I game. Mahmoud had a few offensive moves. Lewis and Leee were consistent.
The thing I like the most about Anas is that it seems like he knows he is supposed to be a rim protector. He didn't have that in him last year. He tries to quickly recover and block a shot and he actively looks to protect the rim. Last year he didn't have the instinct that nobody is going to score while he is in the paint.
Nanu needs to watch the fouls but he played with more energy yesterday.

Crawford confirmed this morning that Bellarmine does have some height. On TV it wasn't that notable because they play outside on offense and are capable of shooting 3's. I guess it makes our bigs play even more impressive..
