As always, we get caught up locally in the minutiae...

Consider that if there's one shred of truth to Pitino's hearsay, we have a marginal Top 75 basketball program that's mostly an afterthought nationally paying big $$$ to land the Rivals #21 kid. Not exactly like Duke recruiting Marvin Bagley.

What exactly the FBI is uncovering about what's going on behind-the-scenes could be staggering. Perhaps the reason we don't hear much ain't that there's not much there. It could just as easily be that the FBI doesn't know where to begin or move next...
 
It's called Christian Dawkins a former Nike program guy who was fired /let go took the blueprint over to Addias and attempted to follow the same path. Problem is Addias doesn't have a William Wesley on the pay roll. Nobody is talking about that tweet of Dawkins saying" Wes is not happy about Bowen signing with Louisville." Tells you right their Nike was involved just as much as Adidas . Like i've been saying Addias is the scapegoat and Nike walks and all the cheating is going to be put on Rick plain and simple.

The FBI is generally just concerned about the actual crimes committed by the parties they are investigating....the college basketball programs are collateral in the way of their "pursuit of justice".

Now anyone reasonable knows that the programs listed are far from the only ones doing it....and it falls on the NCAA to have the guts to dig further and/or make sweeping changes to benefit the student athlete and level the playing field. But...as we all know we can't count on the NCAA to be consistent or fair about anything.

They aren't a police force so they lack any real power to dig. They have to have information first and then they try to corroborate it. Other than raising penalties to such a level as to be a real deterrent, I don't know what they can do.

We know what they can do. They can rule arbitrarily when it comes to certain programs and no, I don’t need a response because it won’t be worth reading.

You should at least take some comfort in UL admitting what happened unlike UNCheat who intentionally operated in a loophole and forced the NCAA to recognize the loophole. I have zero respect for UNCheat and that wont change anytime soon.

I’ll give you a date, since I’ve been breathing air (1960). The titles between the kitties and UofL are 4-3 kitties. Yet, we must endure the BS rhetoric about the kitty “dynasty”. Again I call it BS because that’s what it is. Half of the titles up the road were earned when the NIT was a more prestigious tourney than the NCAA was.

Hell, a lot of SEC teams had assistant football coaches as their b-ball head coaches, therefore a free ticket to the tourney on a yearly basis. Then only four wins were required to win a 16-team second-rate tourney. And, your “dynasty” only won four with that cake setup.

But hey, you guys keep wearing those t-shirts!

Yes, UNC is a much much better Athletics program than UK. UK couldn't hold their jock. You guys are a one trick pony when it comes to the 4 or 5 major athletics. Plus, UNC has been playing in the ACC in basketball while UK plays in their joke of a conference. That helps seeding and really has helped all time wins.

Comparing all.time wins to other programs who have played in legit basketball conferences is an absolute joke and meaningless. But go ahead and make another t shirt about it.
 
This thread isn't about slappies although I understand their interest in something that could in all likelihood be happening in their backyard. So I'll begin and end the LPT analysis with this...

It's a fact that the only FBI document leaked so far included THREE LPT guys recruited and signed by Pitino Lite. But I'm sure that's just coincidence and will lead nowhere...

A lunch the NCAA has already said is irrelevant, a ledger entry you believe to be the BAM who played for Kentucky and what else? I'm forgetting the third. Was anyone else mentioned in the FBI documents? Oh, yeah, the indictments did mention another in state school if I remember correctly.

The third was Noel. He took a loan AFTER leaving Kentucky and joining the sixers.

Or it’s widespread and their building cases. The bigger this gets the better it is for us. The FBI can be very mythodical and they take their time.
 
The NCAA is as old and obsolete as the AAU was. The AAU was done away with and yet amaturer Atheletics still prospers. The NCAA controls could be done away with tomorrow and College Athletics would still exist and still prosper. All the NCAA is a blood sucking leech that serves only itself! Time to kill this Dinosaur!

Ha ha, UK has been cheating ever since Rupp discovered he could convince Hazard he could walk on water. The fake postures we see in here condemning UofL's behavior borders on quietly hysterical.

The athletic programs here are producing Olympic Gold Medal winners. The irony is that UK does well also in fields like track, target shooting (ha ha, with 9 others), occasionally in gymnastics and golf. We never see any acknowledgement from them or any indication they even know it occurred. They cannot seem to relish that because they don't care what program building appreciation actually is. They like Bama and Miami in football, lol. Front runners with hoops tunnel vision - it ruins football.

Not that we mind. Without Krags, we could be approaching Tennessee and Florida like streaks in football, lol. I tend to believe we might yet. 6 out of 7 is a good start.
