Benny says he’s a UK legend, but...

LoL! Apples to oranges would have been a passing yards and TDs comparison. Nobody is trying to diminish Snell's accomplishments here; at least I'm not; I've been very kind in my words for Snell. But a UK fan taking offense at a UofL fan, on a UofL board, noting how favorably a UofL player's rushing stats compare, is an exercise in futility. Maybe fly that indignation on the UK board.
I mean I don't think there's any player in NCAA history outside of maybe a Tim Tebow (who is behind Lamar) who has numbers that could compare to Lamar. I mean you could say "Yeah Teddy was a great QB, but it shows how much more special Lamar was if you compare the stats"
Dirk (Snell) isn't close to LeBron (Lamar) in all-time debates...but doesn't take away from Dirk being a great player just because he isn't close to LeBron.

That was a special guy you guys had behind center and you were lucky to have him for the time he did..very high character guy and a great ambassador for your program.

Benny's numbers are legendary just about anywhere you play. 1 Touchdown behind Hershell Walker and #3 all-time in touchdowns in the SEC and #12 all-time in SEC yardage. He did it with basically no help at QB or receiver and most every game he played...he was going against a defense that was way more talented than his line. He really could single handed -ly change the game.

When he came in the game in 2016...Stoops hadn't made a bowl game and was coming off a loss to Southern Miss and a shellacking at Florida...we were losing to NM State and just lost our QB for the year. From that game on UK went 24-13 and 13-10 in conference...3 straight bowls and 4 wins against ranked teams (including 2 on the road). There were some games he'd just will his way for little ole UK to win. I remember games against Georgia and Ole Miss where he forced his way to a late score, only for the defense to choke on the last play.

Always a positive guy and gave every effort on every carry. Always smiling and encouraging his teammates. Never any trouble off the field with the law or any grade trouble. Will he be an NFL star? Probably not...but he will make money at the next level and set his family up for generations to come.

I'm not sure how he "ranks" as a backfield receiver and his next block will be his first.
He did have a decent downfield “get in the way” block on one of the QB runs.

Or maybe it was a WR screen?

Whatever, he got the block.

Whew! It’s windier than Chicago around here. Windy City, baby!
