Watching the NCAA Super Regionals this afternoon. Very Disappointed in UL not being in the tourney, after going to the Super Regional Finals last year. Then listening to Coach Mac talking about the promise of an Indoor practice facility, not materializing for a lack of Money.
Fund Raising is one of the primary functions of an AD. It is painfully obvious to all of us, that UL Fund Raising has fallen off the Cliff since TJ was terminated. Also, it is painfully obvious that College Sports has turned into a Fund Raising/NIL Arms Race.
Would it be in AD Josh Heird's best interests to bring back Mark Jurich in a Fund-Raising Role? With Mark having a close relationship with Jim Patterson, and others like Mark Lynn. Could Mark being brought back kick start, some of the Old Jurich connections back in the fold? I say yes! Josh should reach out today, to bring Mark Jurich back. If for nothing else, but to raise funds to retain Coach Dan, and get this practice facility built. What do some of your others think?
