To me it's just a catchall. I'm an atheist but celebrate christmas for what it's become. A commercialized money grab, and I'm totally ok with that

Not really disdain. Just tired of people telling me what I should say or when to say it. This politically correct stuff has went way off the rails. The people screaming to be tolerant are the least tolerant of all. I'm personally fed up with it.

And I respect and appreciate the Happy Holidays wish from you as well. I don't mind hearing that from anyone. That sounds nice. I only want to be allowed to say what I want to say without any backlash from it. If I can be tolerant, then so can everyone else.
